Yes, to maintain its freshness and sweetness, corn on the cob should be refrigerated. Ideally, corn should be consumed as soon as possible after purchase, but if you need to store it, keep it in the refrigerator. Yes, we do sell corn in bulk at Selmi's Farm. You can purchase 5 one dozen bags for $42.50 anytime at any of our farmers markets. Additionally, when quantities allow, we offer our Big Bags, which hold 5 to 6 dozen ears of corn, for $40.

Every morning at 5:30 a.m. and throughout the day we hand pick the sweetest, tenderness ears of corn to be bagged and sold at our farm and mobile farm markets.

Across our 35 acres, we coordinate 10 planting cycles to ensure a fresh crop is ready for picking each week, serving the Sauk Valley area.

Frank started growing sweet corn in 1977. Selmi's has been at the same location at Sterling's Northland Mall since then, selling sweet corn and fresh produce!
